Welcome Back to 2007 2

I’ll grant that “2007 2” successfully captures the vibe, if seemingly incidentally, of the Internet circa 2007, when its culture was on the cusp of being too important to ignore but a long ways off from having standards of humor and philosophy beyond “don’t talk shit about Mr. Rogers”. Aside from that, this feels like a low-rent parody of “I Want to Be the Guy”, except IWTBTG, for as poorly as it has aged, at least feels effortful. “2007 2” is humorless busywork. Eat the cigarettes, shoot the bad guys, and waste time you could use doing literally anything else.
