The Expanse (Leviathan Wakes)

Last episode felt like half an episode, and so did this one. I imagine folk who watched it all in one sitting, who don’t recognize the strength of television as being able to provide the sort of emotional power many thought for decades could only be conveyed through cinema onto the small screen through efficient writing and long-form storytelling delivered in forty-five minute chunks, don’t see any problem with having two half-stories back-to-back, but even if I sat through it all in one sitting, it would only place on the low end of good. Good season with a flat conclusion.
