Sleeping Dogs (definitive edition)

Neither the PS4 version running on my PS5 nor the Steam version run without some difficulty, but they’re both playable enough to get the experience and assess that it would be difficult to recommend this even if it ran well. The Arkham combat was played out at its release and hasn’t earned charm with age, running around to complete side quests adds hours between plot points (how did Insomniac’s crappy “Spider-Man” games miss this lesson?), and the actual story is run-of-the-mill, typical stuff for anyone who has seen a crime thriller. A bad game, though there are worse to experience.
