Nona (2021 short film)

This was a fine short. The art style isn’t my favorite and I feel there’s untapped potential here, but I’ve come to expect more conjured comedy, drama, and overall entertainment through Disney’s short films than most; I’d have no complaints if many end up getting more out of this than I did. That said, this was a cute story told well that occupied my attention for less than ten minutes, and while I’ve seen far better this year, I’ve also seen far worse. If nothing else, a portrayal of wrestling as something besides a hobby for freaks is worth celebrating.
