LOVE 2: kuso
A good deal of my childhood was spent in dressed up flea markets, sorting through floppy disks to find the few gems of shareware that had more soul than most retail games. These few had bravado and identity, which did a lot of heavy lifting to make up for that they weren't good. This version of "Kuso", packed in with a version of its prequel ("Love"), feels like a product of those days married to modern video game standards, making for a surreal platformer that exhibits wit with every jump. A $5 game on par with "God of War 2018".
