The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Post-“Endgame” Marvel has hardly been worthless, but with such scattershot direction that reached such lows as the worst Marvel character ever created (Loki) getting his own miniseries, the brand’s homegrown version of Star Wars being utilized for a holiday special could actually be seen as a dignified direction. That said, it’s plenty uproarious without undermining its purpose as a holiday special for folks who are tired of crappy stop-motion cartoons, incalculably helped by having the duo with the most comic potential take center stage. This doesn’t reinvent the wheel or anything, but it is fun and funny and adorably anarchic.
