Invincible (Who You Calling Ugly?)

The best episode so far in handling its tone and characters. The likes of Atom Eve and her dumb friends remain annoying, but this episode introduces colleagues that aren’t nearly as aggravating even as it adds elements to some of the old squad that threatens to make them interesting. This episode also has the best fight so far, with great pacing allowing for bon mots and well-framed action without one stepping on the toes of the other. It’s too early to say “Invincible” has recovered from its awful start, but it’s becoming easier to see why so many love it.
