Invincible (Here Goes Nothing)

A significant improvement over the crappy first episode, though I struggle to call it a worthwhile watch. This episode makes broader strokes towards caring about theming, something the pilot made little effort towards, and it’s a bit of a revelation that the opening gag about the illusion of power is tied into the villains of the week being able to slaughter dozens until getting basically the slightest pushback possible in this universe. On the other hand, all of Invincible’s new superhero teen friends are duds, annoying and stupid and boring and nonsensical; please kill these characters quickly, they all suck.
