This is technically little more than a music video, though a trusted source has said this is one of their favorite short films of the year. It’s better than the short that preceded “Raya and the Last Dragon” and the animation is gorgeous, but in keeping with being “touching” and Important, this music video I am treating like a short film is predictable and arguably a bit pandering. I understand some might not always mind media they can call the ending to from frame one, but there’s no doubt it is a negative in many instances. Fine stuff all around.
