When I think of the greatest wrestling matches of all time, the ones that most fully realize the potential of this odd form of physical theater whose primary demographic these days is IT nerds who take this way too seriously and rednecks who take it way too seriously in a completely different way, this match isn’t too far from the top. The only tag match I can think of that tops this, to be honest, is another AJPW match with Kenta Kobashi in it. Great story, engaging action, and a white-hot crowd makes for twenty minutes that just fly by.
