“Bill Laimbeer’s Combat Basketball” asks more questions than it answers. Who is Bill Laimbeer? Why was he chosen to be attached to such a cool concept for a video game? Why does this game suck so much ass? Okay, that last one is pretty easy to answer: it feels less like an explosive arcade romp and more like a simulation of what would happen if this idea were put into practical use, which is stupid because this is a fucking video game. Among the worst sports titles on a system that had some pretty damn fun ones. Fuck Bill Laimbeer.
