Berserk Volume Two

Second verse, same as the first: artwork is great and the story ain’t bad, but the edgelord stuff is wearing thin. That the Count has motivations beyond “I LIKE MONEY AND INFLICTING PAIN” is a step in the right direction, though that I’m praising a character for having two whole dimensions should give an idea of the standard here. The Black Swordsman Arc is generally considered among the worst of Berserk’s arcs, something to “get through” rather than enjoy, but that the “worst” still has some well-realized action sequences means the floor isn’t too low. A 6 is praise, folks.
