The Princess Switch

“Adorably cute! Quirky cute! It’s “shove your finger down your throat and hurl” cute!” –from a MadTV sketch parodying the reception to “Ed”

“The Princess Switch” is a silly holiday film that challenges neither the cast, crew, or audience, and there are far worse things that a film can be. Vanessa Hudgens’s double role entails she has to play both a walking “Cathy” cartoon and someone who is two strong drinks away from calling someone a stampcrab. Someone falls, like, ten feet, back first, onto hard snow and comically groans; children laugh, I sigh. Better than “A Christmas Prince”, FWIW.
