The Expanse (Salvage)

In terms of moving the plot forward in meaningful ways, “Salvage” finally gives our gang something to do. Whether or not the show is moving in a wise direction is too early to tell, leaving me only able to judge the execution of it, and I found it engaging but hardly exceptional. There’s some good popcorn fun to be had, but in terms of tangible themes and other elements that can render media MORE enjoyable the longer you think about it, I don’t see how the awkward Mormon talk connects with learning the origin of a hat. Misplaced priorities, y’all.
