Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior (revisited)

I try to write these reviews askingthe the subject fares against current highwater marks, and “Street Fighter 2” represents one of the most difficult to regard in that light. The first (arguably) good “Street Fighter” game set a template that is still being followed today, and it is also the worst version of “Street Fighter 2” if you don’t count the Game Boy versions. It’s still fun, in a “gaining satisfaction in taking a round the CPU is button reading like mad to win” kind of way, something something Dark Souls. Better than plenty of fighting games released this decade.
