She Dies Tomorrow

I’ve enjoyed horror films with allegorical throughlines of living with anxiety and its manifestations (“The Babadook”) as well as arthouse films that play hard and loose with their allegories (“I’m Thinking of Ending Things”). “Tomorrow”, meanwhile, is all played-out allegory that’s presented amateurishly, at one point seemingly pulling out all stops trying to induce seizures in the audience. The cast can’t act their way out of a wet paper bag, but I struggle to think of how any cast could’ve made sense of this garbage. A boring fucking movie no one should watch, and the second-worst horror film of 2020.
