My Octopus Teacher

At one point, this dumb motherfucker that got high and studied a common octopus for a year says, “There I was, just staring into the eyes of this incredible creature,” which caused me to laugh because I was certain this was the first time he had said this and also feeling as though he had said it a million times by this point. A few of the late emotional beats land, but this otherwise has its head up its ass and isn’t about to find sunshine. No reason for this to be up for Documentary Feature, let alone beating “Collective”.
