Rygar

Another NES game that is more influential than good, though I’d hesitate to call it bad. In fact, if you’re the sort that doesn’t mind having a walkthrough handy while playing a game, you might have a good time with “Rygar” as the combat system and enemy attack patterns frequently make for tense encounters. Guideless, however, you’re bound to run into roadblocks that will turn what can be completed in less than an hour into several hours of diminishing returns. This used to be standard for games, but we’ve since learned the medium can do so much better than this.
