Running With Speed

There are so many entertaining and informative documentaries on YouTube about aspects of speedrunning that I wonder who would rent this as their point of entry into this hobby. In a vacuum, though, this is a fine introduction, at its best when it is getting into the lives of these speedrunners and at its worst when it is explaining to an audience is probably already into gaming as a hobby what a save state is. It’s also too long, though I understand this was released as a series at one point and that’s probably the best way to experience this.
