Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Party Demo (PS5 version)

Me, going into this chainsaw party demo: “Man, I don’t know if I can be objective about this. The original Resident Evil 4 is a desert island game for me, but it also resides at a weird midsection of horror and comedy bound together by a brutal combat system that demanded varied and tight play. Making a modern remake seemingly dooms it to destroying that balance and surely neutering the difficulty, and for as welcoming as that could be to contemporary audiences, I don’t trust that I’ll react well to any of it.”

Me, after finishing this demo: “…Never mind.”
