Not Not – A Brain Buster

“Not Not” is a puzzle game in which you follow instructions, and if following instructions doesn’t strike you as a solid foundation for a game working in a genre all about making you use your brain, that’s because it isn’t. “Not Not”, to be sure, throws out its instructions in a confusing fashion, as though making sense of bad information hasn’t been part of one’s diet for the past four years. There IS a kind of game that offers thrills through making the player follow orders exactly, and they’re called rhythm games. Switch has plenty of better cheap puzzle titles.
