Mighty No. 9 (PS4 version played for review)
This was delayed to market by more than a year, but the finished product feels like it's literally years from being ready for market. Take your pick of MN9's worst sin: that the mechanics make traversal and combat feel like chores, that the visuals neither quickly present necessary information about the environment to the player nor are anywhere close to being beautiful enough in their own right to excuse a bit of clutter, or that this is some of the worst level design of any 2D platformer I've ever played. The "The Room" of Mega Man-style platformers, minus any charm.
