Mankind vs. The Undertaker (Hell In A Cell), from WWF King of the Ring 1998

The wildest match in the history of the largest wrestling promotion in the world. The dots connecting the major story bits are pretty rough, but those story bits are among the biggest moments in wrestling history. A thirty-three-year-old, three hundred pound man falls sixteen feet onto a collapsible table before the match starts, so of course the twenty minutes that follow are rough. It's all spectacle, spectacle that maybe should have wrapped five minutes before it did, but hey, wrestling is spectacle anyway, and the sickening falls here make infinitely more sense than whatever madness has happened in the indies.
