Man of Medan (also marketed as “The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan”)

I had been told to stay away from this one for years, with it being cited as a low point for the developer and arguably the interactive movie format, but having given it a chance, I think the negative press is overstated. It’s not free from criticism, mind; technical hiccups make it clear this was released a few months too early, and the jumpscares wore out their welcome fast. That said, I’d think it might do a better job of conveying dread and thrills than “The Quarry”, and I didn’t hate the big plot twist. Light recommendation for this mess.
