Malignant (2021 film)

“Malignant” asks that you get on board with its pseudo-giallo stylings from the get-go, and between its brutal violence, tasteless treatment of every aspect of its subject matter, and repeated use of “Where Is My Mind”, that might be a tall order for many audiences. You basically need to laugh through all of this glorious trash to get to the S-tier trash of its final half-hour, where it laps itself in ludicrous elements to the point that, without giving too much away, it bears greater semblance to “The Matrix” than “Saw”. Ever laugh through two hours of a horror film?
