Maestro (2023 film)

Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre had enormously interesting lives; the former accumulated an 800-page FBI file over the course of his life, while the latter was arrested for protesting the Vietnam War and did fundraising for the Black Panthers. This biopic, in addition to leaving out the above details, also leaves out any reason to care about these characters through bland writing and cinematography that is nowhere near incompetent but is so lacking in soul, a camera track being left in frame would at least have added some personality. The two best scenes in the film involved Snoopy. Pure tedium.
