Limbo

A hysterically obsolete game. Whatever unique charm “Limbo” may have possessed died the day “Inside” was released. “Inside”’s super-specific, subtext-heavy narrative shone a spotlight on all of “Limbo”’s failures, from the missed opportunities of its vague story to its poor puzzles to its horrible ending, to the point that every review of “Limbo” should consist of little besides “play Inside instead”. It wasn’t too long ago when this was considered a high water mark for indie games on consoles, and now it is close to the bottom of the barrel. I suppose we could call that progress, if we’re generous.
