Letterkenny (Season One)

Between accents so thick they require subtitles and a season so short you can knock through it in about two hours, “Letterkenny” invites comparisons to “Derry Girls”, a comparison it shouldn’t want to invite on account of how bad “Letterkenny” is. The A-plot eventually finds a novel way of addressing how drugs can affect the relationships one forms with their community, but the recurring gags suck, whole scenes read like my attempts at inflating my NaNoWriMo word count, and I never laughed once at anything presented in these six episodes. A boring slew of half-hours that recall early “The Office”.
