Invincible (A Lesson for Your Next Life)

The best thing “Invincible” could have done was run away from its silly first season finale, perhaps give a nod to some fallout but then jump into something more compelling than expanding on that sour note. That most of this episode is fallout, especially after the entire second half of that finale was essentially epilogue, basically doomed the whole thing. This was aggravating and annoying the whole way through, and no, connecting the A-plot to the stupid Mauler B-plot that just won’t die did nothing to engender any degree of goodwill. “Invincible wins by getting his ass kicked” count: 2.
