In the Mood for Love

Me being a jerk, I approached this much like how I approached “Citizen Kane”, hopeful it would be as good as so many have made it out to be while also having my arms gleefully crossed (“alright, impress me, movie”), and like “Citizen Kane”, “In the Mood for Love” lives up to all the praise that’s ever been heaped on it. To properly break down this, one of cinema’s greatest love stories, would entail writing about practically every shot in the film as damn near every shot is as informative as it is gorgeous. You need to see this movie.
