Howard the Duck (1986 film)

“This would be so much better if it was nonstop duck puns,” an Instasynch stream monster joked fifty minutes into this one. My retort, which drew horrified reactions from the chat: “This would be so much better if we were already halfway into this movie.” The talent to make something special is here, but it is rarely put to use for anything besides unneeded worldbuilding in a comedy that is desperate for more jokes. Did we need so many chase scenes? The only thing keeping this from oblivion is that I like the design of the monster at the end.
