Hades (PS5 version)

Turns out “Hades” goes down a little smoother with a controller than a mouse and keyboard. It’s easier to process the level of escalation to the violence and spectacle of the combat when you’re able to see the end credits after only fifteen hours instead of forty-two, and the final weapons, which I never saw when I played this on PC, are plenty of fun even as I couldn’t get the gun to work out consistently for me. Point subtracted for the epilogue that necessitates a guide and failingly tries to get one to care about the talky relationship drama.
