Flicky

The difference between a “Flicky” and a “Pac Man” is through how well the scoring measurement flows with the game’s design. A game like “Pac Man” is designed to be interpreted through numerical values. “Flicky” does not have the same benefits. Like many 8-bit titles, it feels right on the first level and feels blah on the second level. The presentation doesn’t fit its limitations. It feels like the first level was designed and presented to someone in charge, who okayed the game without checking to see if they had any more good ideas. This was probably not uncommon once.
