Edge vs. The Undertaker (Hell In a Cell), from WWE Summerslam 2008

Wrestling discourse being a perpetual tire fire means I’ve seen this called everything from one of the greatest HIAC matches of all time to having all the urgency of a dress rehearsal. I’m of the opinion that, between there not being much glue between the big spots as well as the big spots not being jaw-dropping enough to overlook its disjointed nature, I’m not comfortable calling this a classic match, but it’s still plenty fun and kept my interest for most of its considerable duration (nearly thirty minutes!). Engaging, though not as good as their match at that year’s WrestleMania.
