Eddie Guerrero vs. Edge (No Disqualification), from the September 26, 2002 episode of WWE SmackDown!

This happened during the brief but wonderful time when at least two members of the Smackdown Six were putting on a match of the year candidate each week, and when stacked against the high water mark established around this time, this is far from the top. That said, it’s damn fantastic in its own right. Guerrero dominates through his considerable cunning while Edge keeps pace with monstrous big moves, culminating in a series of bumps that are as impressive as they are frightening. Criminally underrated, and a great example of how to build a narrative without relying on 50/50 offense.
