Dusty Rhodes, Nikita Koloff, Paul Ellering and Animal and Hawk vs. The Four Horsemen (Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, Ric Flair, and Tully Blanchard) and JJ Dillon, WarGames, from WCW Great American Bash 84

The most significant differences between the old-school spectacle of 80s WWF vs 80s WCW was that WCW had lesser pizazz but far greater conveyed emotional stakes. As such, the first War Games feels like not just a brawl but (unlike most Royal Rumbles) like a fight that people want to win. Pan the camera any direction and there's some crazy stuff going down, dozens of stories all being told at once, which actually presents its own problems (I kept forgetting Dusty is in this match, for one). Far from the best War Games match, but hot damn was this fun.
