Drew Galloway / Drew McIntyre vs. Chris Hero / Kassius Ohno for the EVOLVE Championship, from EVOLVE 31

As an audition for Galloway to prove that he belongs in a wrestling centric promotion (unlike WWE heyoooooo), this was quite the trial by fire. As a match, though, it was too incoherent to heartily recommend. I like the story of both guys being cordial before the match only to lose their manners as the match progresses as well as a late injury playing into the finish, but what’s in between is, well, fine but might as well have been simulated in a video game for how little narrative is conveyed. It’s not awful, but this is hardly essential viewing.
