Depression Quest

Now that we’re well and thoroughly distanced from the unpleasant discourse that plagued this thing before its release (but at what cost?), I think it is safe to say that it is okay. Interactive media about depression is rare for a myriad of reasons, so I do admire “Depression Quest” for trying to occupy an uncomfortable space, but there’s not much value to repeated playthroughs and even that first playthrough will have you going “yeah I get it” the third time the most rational and healthy option is crossed out. Nowhere near as bad as the Goober Gaters claimed, though.
