Deja Vu 2

An adventure that loosens the reins is not inherently bad, but it can be problematic if there’s only one path to victory. “Déjà Vu 2” gives you an objective and lets you tackle it any way you want to, except that it doesn’t and you’re just expected to figure out how things are supposed to go. “Pay off the debt,” the game says, then gives you a way to earn money, but earning money isn’t the solution. There are some ingenious elements to the plot, but the path to that cool ending is just too obtuse for its own good.
