CM Punk vs. Colt Cabana, from Ring of Honor Final Battle 2002

Your average match near the bottom of the card on a modern indie wrestling show still has a stink of OMG MOVEZ about it, but if nothing else, this match proves that matters have improved over the course of the past fifteen years. Neither man gives the audience anything to grasp onto besides their athleticism, leaving it up to the announcers to sell the story that these guys want THAT MONEY, which is a bad story. This is ten minutes of action that needed at least fifteen minutes to breathe, and (spoiler!) both men would grow past this shallow fare.
