Bullet Club Gold vs. FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, from the July 15, 2023 episode of AEW Collision

This was pretty damn good, arguably great, in spots and frustratingly average in others. The story seemed to be the challengers having the champs well-scouted and knowledgeable of their superior cardio, with the champs almost perpetually making the comeback, but while that’s a fine story, the match’s gargantuan length stretches its beats almost to its breaking point. Chop this down to under half an hour and maybe you’d have something that challenges Can-Am vs. Kikuchi and Kobashi (likely what they were aiming for), but what’s here is still engaging, fun, and exciting. There’s room for improvement, is what I’m saying.
