Put this exact match on five years ago and some would argue it represents a high-water mark in what wrestling can get away with on their weekly shows. As it stands, this is one of the less-memorable Blood & Guts bouts. Special guest star Ibushi was sloppy and winded from the start, Takeshita and Yuta didn’t have the presence or know-how to make much of a difference in a multi-man brawl, and the biggest spot is something I’m sure Finn Balor did years ago. This would get a far lower score if I didn’t have an appetite for delicious murder.
