Buddy Murphy vs. Cedric Alexander for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, from the May 29, 2018 edition of WWE 205 Live

With WWE's main event scene coopting classic cruiserweight action, "205 Live" has needed to set itself apart from "Raw", "SmackDown", and "NXT" besides the thrill that comes with showing high-energy action typical of light-heavyweights. The solution they've offered this year has been to play down heel and face dynamics and present their big matches more like a Super Bowl than a Marvel Comic, and this match is, to date, the most fully realized and best example of the strengths of that style of booking. It's a great match that suggests "205 Live"'s throwback to 2007 ROH booking could have legs.
