BoJack Horseman (Season Two)

The first season of “Bojack Horseman” took time to find its soul, but when it finally hit its mark, the ensuing drama was among some of the most thought-provoking and challenging television of 2014. The second season doesn’t pull back on the reins—indeed, this season builds on the character drama and goes from delving into one character’s psyche to almost the entire main cast, and everyone is game for the challenge (the exception is Todd’s continued meaningless existence). The expanded universe lends itself to more incisive commentary with an edge of horror. Among the best shows hosted on Netflix.
