Blazing Transfer Students Reborn
There are exactly two instances of measured restraint in this manic comedy. The first comes with holding off on explaining what is going on in an episode dedicated to acting out a by-the-numbers historical TV drama (though the mystical sword having a USB plug offers a hint), and the second involves waiting until the final two episodes to shatter the fourth wall. Everything else reads like a Japanese "Danger-Five" but is far more tolerable due to a better variety of setpieces and jokes. This is rampant, glorious satire of action-adventure television so fully realized, I'm mad there's only eight episodes.
