Black Mirror (San Junipero)

"You would never call me baby / If you knew me truly" -Perfume Genius, "Hood"

Rare is the work I'm hesitant to discuss out of fear of saying too much and spoiling the experience. I feel comfortable saying that "San Junipero", had it been a feature film, would likely have been my pick for the best film of the year, if not a contender for film of the decade. There's not a moment here wasted; everything is masterful worldbuilding, foreshadowing, payoff, and/or character development. Among the best hours of television ever broadcast, and I hesitate to say a word beyond that.
