Black Mirror (Metalhead)

"Hope we're not just the biological boot loader for digital superintelligence. Unfortunately, that is increasingly probable." -Elon Musk

"Metalhead"'s monochrome hints at sky-high ambitions (and it's impossible to not think of "Stalker" given it quickly establishes its world as post-apocalyptic), but this is a full-length chase sequence that packs its world building into the background. It's a good chase sequence, engaging throughout thanks to the design of the chaser and the performance of the chasee, but its brisk length coupled with unrealized potential left me wanting more. A pretty-good "Black Mirror" episode whose first ten minutes telegraphed something far better.
