Black Mirror (Men Against Fire)

"If only one man dies of hunger, that is a tragedy. If millions die, that’s only statistics." -attributed to Joseph Stalin

"Men Against Fire" might've hit harder if the subjects it explores had not been covered in previous episodes of "Black Mirror". The show has conditioned its audience to be too savvy; the first "hint" is a giveaway for most of what's going on. I love the way it is shot, though, with POV angles giving a sense of intimacy and the final shot being perhaps the best way to conclude this story. Very good episode, just shy of greatness.
