Beethoven’s 2nd (SNES title)

I’d compare this to the routine shareware that clogged CompUSA shelves, but that would be reductive of routine shareware, which still gave better value than this. A licensed game for a panned film, there’s pretty much no reason for this to exist, and it barely does. I wonder what working on this must have felt like. I have to imagine two guys sharing a bottle of Jack Daniels over a computer, with one occasionally saying “is this good enough” and the other guy saying “whatever”. Joyless, dumb, and short to a fault, whateverthisgameiscalled is the “fuck you” of video games.
