Beavis and Butt-Head Do America

“Beavis and Butt-Head Do America” is short on a lot of things. It is seventy-five minutes sans credits for starters, and the plot that keeps the guys on the road still manages to confuse with its geography*. It isn’t short on comic timing, though. While the novelty of the characters has faded, the use of different animation speeds, shamelessly juvenile gags, and music video sequences (the best one being a mushroom samba of such insanity that it would take “Bojack Horseman” to top it) keep it going at a steady pace and the laughs coming at a surprisingly good clip.
